The dashboard

Signing in

Open the dashboard and sign in with your Discord account. It lists every server you're in that Orpheus is also in, split into two groups:

• Servers you manage are servers where you have Manage Server. You're shown as Admin there.
• Servers you listen in are the other servers you share with Orpheus. You're shown as Listener.

If a server is missing, Orpheus probably isn't in it. There's an Add Orpheus button on the page.

The player card in Discord also has a Dashboard button that takes you straight to that server's page.

What everyone gets

Everyone who signs in gets these pages.

Player shows what's playing, how far through it is, how many people are in the voice channel, and the queue: up to the next 50 tracks, each with its cover art.

• Every track says where it came from: the person who added it, Autoplay, a radio station, or Orpheus. For the track that's playing, you also see which artists autoplay is carrying on from, or who started the station.
• When Orpheus can match the playing track to a release on Deezer, you see its cover, album and release year.
• The Lyrics tab shows the words for what's playing. When the lyrics have timings, they're synced to the song and scroll along line by line. Untick "Follow along" to stop the scrolling.
• The Played tab lists what played recently.

Statistics shows how much the server has listened, how many different tracks, and the most played tracks and artists, over the last 30 days.

Sessions lists past listening sessions, with when they started and ended, how many tracks played and the most people listening at once.

Controlling playback from the website

Join the voice channel Orpheus is in and the Player page works like the buttons in Discord, whether you're a Listener or an Admin. The same DJ role rules apply. If you're not in the channel, the page tells you to join it. Having Manage Server doesn't let you control a channel you're not in.

Playback. Pause and resume, previous, skip and stop, plus a volume slider. When a control doesn't go through, the page shows Orpheus's reason under the buttons.

Adding to the queue. Paste a link or type a search. Orpheus picks the song the same way /play does, with the same checks, so when it can't find a copy it's confident in, Orpheus adds nothing and the page says so. A playlist or album link adds up to 200 tracks. If nothing's playing, Orpheus joins the voice channel you're in. If it is playing, you need to be in its channel. The player card goes to the server's player channel, which you can set with /channel or on the Settings page.

The queue. Remove a track, or move it to the front.

Save. The Save button under the playing track puts it in one of your playlists, or in a new one you name. This one works without being in the voice channel, because it only changes your own playlists. See Playlists.

What Manage Server adds

With Manage Server you get two more pages.

Radio. Start a station from a sound, decade, mood or Deezer genre, or type an artist's name. The page shows the station that's running and how many songs are in its pool. To start one, Orpheus has to already be playing and you have to be in its voice channel. The first picks go in straight away, after anything already queued. "Stop the station" stops new picks, and whatever's already queued still plays. Autoplay and radio explains how stations work.

Settings. Stay in the channel (24/7), Keep going when the queue ends (autoplay), Default volume, Player channel, DJ role ID and Segments to skip. Nothing changes until you press Save changes. See Sound and settings.

Your playlists

Everyone who signs in gets a Your playlists page. It isn't tied to a server. From there you can:

• import a playlist from a link, up to 200 tracks,
• see what's in each playlist,
• export one as a CSV, plain text or M3U file,
• delete one, and
• play one in any server you share with Orpheus. You need to be in a voice channel in that server.
