What Orpheus does in your server

Each part below shows the dashboard's own player running sample songs, and links to a page with the details.

Playback

It plays the song you asked for

You get the release you meant. Orpheus checks each YouTube result's title, artist and length before it plays one.

Orpheus skips a sped-up edit, a live recording or an hour-long loop unless you typed those words yourself. Links from YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp and Vimeo work, and so do radio streams.

Autoplay and radio

When the queue runs out, it carries on from your server

Turn autoplay on and Orpheus looks at the artists behind the last five songs people asked for, then keeps going with them and artists like them. Or start a station with /radio, from a mood or a country's chart to one built around an artist.

Press Like and a song comes up more often. Press Not for me and radio and autoplay won't pick it again on your server. The rules and numbers behind both are on the autoplay page.

Dashboard

Everyone can see what's on and who added it

Sign in with Discord on this site and you get your server's player: the cover, the queue with a name next to every song, and the lyrics following along.

If you're in the voice channel, you can skip and add songs from the page. People with Manage Server also get the settings and radio pages.

Always on

It stays in the channel for as long as you like

With 24/7 on, Orpheus pauses a minute after everyone leaves and carries on the moment somebody joins. With it off, it leaves an empty channel after a minute and keeps your queue for a day.

Most updates cause a gap of a few seconds, and your queue comes back with the music.
