Get help with Orpheus
Ask in the support channel or send an email when something isn’t working or a feature doesn’t make sense. If it looks like Orpheus is down for everyone, the status page will say so.
Ask in Discord
Orpheus has its own Discord, with a channel for questions where you can post screenshots.
The channel link opens once you’ve joined the Orpheus Discord.
Privacy requests
To see or delete what Orpheus keeps about you. The privacy policy lists what that is.

Join a voice channel first, then use /play. If Orpheus is already playing somewhere else in your server, it stays there, so join that channel instead. Also check that Orpheus can see your channel and has Connect and Speak in it, because a channel’s own permissions can take those away.

“You need to be in the voice channel with me”
The player buttons and most commands only work for people in the same voice channel as Orpheus. That includes a paused track. Join its channel and try again.
A song didn't play because no matching copy was found
Orpheus only plays a copy it’s confident is the song you asked for. It turns down remixes, sped-up or live versions and uploads of the wrong length. If you want one of those, put the word in your search, like /play query: ribs lorde slowed. For Spotify links, try the song name and artist instead, or use /search and pick a result yourself.

Autoplay stopped when the queue ran out
Autoplay needs artists it can work out from recent songs. If it can’t find any, or everything it finds is blocked on your server, the music ends. Queue something by a well-known artist and it should carry on from there next time.

Orpheus left the channel
Everyone left and 24/7 is off, so it left too. Someone with Manage Server can run /247 enabled: True to keep it in the channel.

I can't use /unblock, /autoplay, /247 or /dj
Those need Manage Server by default. Someone with Manage Server can open them up to other roles in Server Settings, under Integrations.
Orpheus stopped and said the last 3 tracks failed
Three songs in a row couldn’t be played, which usually means a music source is having trouble. Orpheus keeps your queue. Check the status page, wait a little and press play again.

What helps us find it
Post these in the support channel or put them in an email. Each one you include saves a question back to you.
- Your server ID
- What you typed or pressed, like the exact command
- Roughly when it happened, and your time zone
- A screenshot of what Orpheus replied, if it replied
Finding your server ID
- 1In Discord, open User Settings, then Advanced, and turn on Developer Mode.
- 2Right-click your server’s icon in the server list. On a phone, press and hold it.
- 3Choose Copy Server ID and paste it into your message.
On the dashboard, the long number in the address of your server’s page is the same ID.
Donations
Donations on Ko-fi help pay for the server Orpheus runs on. A donation doesn’t unlock anything.
