What Wave Music charges for
- Nothing. Wave says it has no premium tier and no voting.
What Orpheus includes free
- A dated promise: on 23 September 2026, before anything was sold, Orpheus listed what is free and said it stays free.
- Documented limits: 50 playlists of 500 songs each, a queue of up to 5,000 tracks, and volume from 0 to 200.
- A web dashboard for every server, free.
What both do
- Every feature in the table is free, by each bot’s own account.
- 24/7, filters, lyrics, autoplay and playlists.
- Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and SoundCloud links.
- A DJ role that decides who can control the music.
Where Wave Music is strong
Wave is simple and says so plainly: no premium, no voting. It also has a visual controller in Discord, a Discord Activity for controlling the player, and a setup wizard for DJ roles.
Trying Orpheus
You don’t have to remove Wave Music first. Both can sit in the same server while you try Orpheus.
Add Orpheus
You need Manage Server in the server. Then join a voice channel and type
/playwith a song name or a link.Bring your playlists
Paste a public Spotify, SoundCloud or Bandcamp playlist link into

Your playlists belong to your account, so
/playlist playworks in every server with Orpheus. You can keep 50, with up to 500 songs each.
